Weighing to Weight Loss, Part II

I had a 75 year old long time patient come in for his annual physical like he has done for the last 10-15 years. He had been overweight, had type 2
diabetes, high blood fats, erectile dysfunction and had developed some peripheral neuropathy in his feet.

This year he came in 12 pounds lighter. I asked hm what did he do different and he said he weighed himself twice daily as a check and balance. He said it kept him on course.

I recommend you weigh yourself twice daily, morning and evening to help you stay on track, get over the “charge” of judging yourself and your weight, and just realize that your scale is “your best friend” to help you maintain your weight and have great health.
